I moved to Richmond in 2008 to become a member of the faculty of VCU. My wife Jeanine and I found a house on craigslist (821 W. 30th St., Richmond, VA 23225) to rent while we learned about Richmond neighborhoods and to save up for a down payment on a house of our own. Terry and Patti Shulman were the landlords. This blog is about our experiences, what happened to us, and our quest to get our deposit back.

Good Luck to the New Tenants
New tenants moved in to 821 W. 30th St. yesterday. Good luck to them. I hope they don't have any problems and that things turn out better for them.
